The families of teens unaccounted for after a devastating inferno at a venue in a Swiss ski resort are enduring an painful wait for official news and pleading for information about their family members publicly.

The fire engulfed the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the small hours of January 1st. Verified video depict the roof structure igniting as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.

Emergency services have warned that it could take considerable time to identify the fatalities of the fire, which killed numerous partygoers and injured another scores more.
